10,000 pro-Taliban supporters in Pakistan gathered to listen to the audio tape of a slain Taliban commander as well as other speakers today.

A Taliban fighter, in a rather hypocritical move, spoke out about the high number of civilian casualties in Afghanistan. Perhaps if they were not used as human shields there would not be so many. However, there are multiple sides to every story. He claimed that coalition troops "always bomb instead of fighting face-to-face and so most of the casualties are innocent people, including children and women."
