Governor Schwarzenegger To Endorse McCain; Romney Not Advertising In Super Tuesday States

There is alot of chatter as of late which suggests that Governor Schwarzenegger will endorse John McCain's presidential bid some time today. This is obviously not a good start for the Romney campaign going into Super Tuesday.

"Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will endorse John McCain today, giving a boost to the Republican presidential front-runner six days before California's high-prize primary.

The two will appear at a news conference after touring a Los Angeles-based solar energy company and the governor will make his endorsement official, his senior aides confirmed."

To make matters worse, the Romney campaign hasn't purchased any television time in any of the twenty-one Super Tuesday states.

"Several officials said that on the heels of a defeat in Tuesday's Florida primary, Romney's campaign was not attempting to purchase television advertising time in any of the states on the Super Tuesday calendar.

Instead, the former Massachusetts governor's current plans call for campaigning in California and other primary states, said the officials, who had knowledge of the internal discussions. There would be organizational efforts primarily for caucus states."
